The Tamarind Group is responsible for an array of dining experiences within Nairobi and Mombasa; Kenya and Johannesburg; South Africa.

Enjoy authentic African cuisine and dining at ‘Africa’s greatest eating experience’ that is The Carnivore. It’s an amazing place that boasts a whole host of exciting delicacies, traditional food with an unforgettable atmosphere and outstanding service.

On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and seated by the spectacular Simba Saloon and Carnivore gardens. Accompanied by a group of family, I was offered drinks and a high recommendation of a huge variety of meats; roasted over a charcoal fire. Carved at our table this included; roasted turkey, a mouth-watering leg of lamb and pork sausages complimented by seasoned potatoes and grilled mixed vegetables.  The delectable flavours of the vegetables and tasteful tender meats were cooked to perfection.  Later a selection of desserts which included; apple pie, chocolate fudge brownie with toasted almonds and flavoured of ice cream joined our table. This completed the dining experience and proved an extraordinary feast. The atmosphere provides a rustic feel and fine banqueting under one roof. A must visit should you happen to pass by.

Information: Carnivore, P.O Box 56685, Nairobi, 00200, Kenya. Telephone: (254)20 6005933.
