A celebration of Black and Minority Ethnic film and arts exploring wellbeing - takes place 25th May-10th June.

This year’s highlights include: films such as: Teza – a story of hope, loss, and reminiscence through the eyes of a young Ethiopian displaced from his homeland for many years. The film reflects on the fall of Emperor Haile Selassie and on the effects of that regime change on people and will be followed by an interactive Q&A with the Ethiopian Consortium; Community events such as; Empowering Positive Male Role Models – an event at which males with depression can be supported; Happy Soul does Upfront Comedy‬ hosted by John Simmit, and featuring an exciting line up Curtis Walker, ‪Annette Fagon and Jamie Howard and a special production of the play Normal? A story about mental illness told through the lives of two adopted sisters, written, directed and choreographed by Ann Akin.‬ ‪
